Sir,
I have the honour to transmit for your
information the enclosed copy of a letter from the Colonial
rclosure, 23rd March 1900.
Treasurer, from which it appears that during the ensuing year
51 lacs of subsidiary coins will be required for this Colony,
and to request you to be so good as to instruct the Crown
Agents in the terms of that letter. They have already been
requested by telegraph to send out the first consignments on
the list.
